From Simple to full "Nut & Bolt" Restorations:

We can perform any level of restoration you desire on your scooter, from a "mechanical-only" restoration (i.e. daily rider quality) to a full "nut & bolt" restoration with attention to the smallest details.  It's hard to give an exact estimate for a full restoration due to the uniqueness of each scooter but plan on at least $4K - $5K for a ground up restoration including parts, labor and engine...

Before shipping your D or LD engine back after rebuild we would put it on the engine stand, start her up, run it through the gears to make sure it was ok.. now we've taken it one step further by first installing your engine in this Test D so that we can actually ride your engine around before shipping it back to you...

Engine Rebuilds!

Allow Casa Lambretta USA to rebuild your vintage Lambretta engine back to brand new.  We strip each engine of every part and reassemble to original factory specifications using only quality, Italian-made Casa Lambretta Parts.

The price of parts depends on the engine's rarity and condition, some engines arrive in running condition needing only new seals and other perishables while others come to us looking as if they were used as boat anchors in the Mediterranean sea for 40 years.... on average, parts can be $250 to $700 when all done.

For those trailer-queen restorations we can also add "cosmetic" restoration to your engine rebuild as seen in the picture above..  The cost is about $150-$200 additional and consists of polishing, re-plating or painting to original NEW condition.

Since we opened shop in the USA local scooterists have enjoyed our prompt professional service for both their Lambrettas AND Vespas. In fact, Casa Lambretta in Italy is well known not only for it's quality Lambretta restorations but also for restorations performed on all vintage scooters ranging from old Salsburys to vintage Vespas.  Due to increasing demand we've hired another mechanic dedicated to Vespa service only.
