Timing: 26 degrees or 33mm on the flywheel

125 A produced from December 1948 until January 1950. 35,014 units made.  Vin numbers begin with 1.

 

Model Identification:

125 B 

First Version until approx vin # 20,000

Heal-operated rear brake pedal, internal clutch actuator, light switch located on headlight (the switch was moved to the handlebar on the last 2,000 units), cylindrical rubber buffers between the gas tank and toolbox.

Second Version up until approx vin # 40,000

Toe-operated (traditional) rear brake pedal, clutch actuator is on the outside of the engine case, light switch located on the handlebars (the first 5,000 units of the second version had the kill switch located on the frame), rubber buffers were eliminated between the gas tank and glove box.

Third Version up until end of production

Internal rear suspension lever is thicker and secured with screws, toolbox door rubbers are eliminated.

 

Paint (Lechler) and Paint Schemes:

All Versions of the 125 B

All the same color Metallic Blue 8024, Metallic Red 8023, Metallic Green 8025 or Metallic Bronze 8053 with the exception of the seat frame, wheels, wheel hubs, centerstand and internal suspension parts which were all painted Fiat Aluminum 690.

The engine case, carburetor body, air filter box, bronze frame between the toolbox and flywheel cover are all painted Fiat Aluminum 690.
